I made the newspaper in Mexico City!

We got the bike sorted, the altitude and fuel were really a challenge but now my KTM is running sweet. During tonight’s qualifying session I was able to focus on my run and ignore the pain from my crash and I was #1 qualifier with my first run. I decided to save my energy for tomorrow and not take my second run. Tonight I have the physical therapist coming to work on my back so hopefully it’s better tomorrow.

Mat Rebeaud Practice Crash Red Bull X Fighters Mexico City 2009
Remember that work I needed to do on the jetting for my bike? It didn’t work out so well in the last practice and I had big crash. The bike bogged off the ramp and I under rotated and jumped off for the landing. My back is sore and I’m beat up but I rode again and will do my best tonight in qualification. We’ve arrived at the Red Bull X Fighters in Mexico City and have finished the first practice session. Things went pretty well but I need to work on the jetting for my bike. Check out the official website for the event at www.redbullxfighters.com and some other cool content on www.fmxworld.com
